The stem numbers denote the use of two or four washers in the top mount. I forget which way round it is.
Re: My new Midas
Is that metal washers either side of the rubber bushes, if so guessing the stem may be longer on the one with 4 washers and so perhaps more suited to the thick GRP on a MidasRich wrote:The stem numbers denote the use of two or four washers in the top mount. I forget which way round it is.

Yep, that's it, though I don't think there was a difference in overall length,Stuart wrote:Is that metal washers either side of the rubber bushes, if so guessing the stem may be longer on the one with 4 washers and so perhaps more suited to the thick GRP on a MidasRich wrote:The stem numbers denote the use of two or four washers in the top mount. Thank you all very much for your helpfull posts.
I understand that the best length of the damper would be 13inch or 14inch. Sprigs should be used 2'' run-flat with 40lb in combination with a 9'' long spring with 100-120lb. I´m going for these in the next days and post a foto if I got them.
Nice greetings Roli
