Picking a Bronze up tomorrow
Hi folks, I'm picking a white coloured bronze up tomorrow and thought I'd say hi, and ask for some advice- as the interior needs updated I thought of fitting some MGTF seats- do they fit easily- or do they fit at all?
Re: Picking a Bronze up tomorrow
Hi there.
Don't know about MG seats, but MX5 seats fit, apparently. That may not help you though...
Interesting choice of forum name, you're not Scottish by any chance, are you?

Welcome to the forum!
Look like nice cars you have there.
Why not host the pics on a photo site like photo bucket then link to the site. Its worthwhile doing in case we have any issues with the site.
You should get plenty of help and advice on here.
Kind regards,
David

Thanks for the advice folks- I found the Mk 3 thread covering how to adapt the MX5 seats to fit- shame because the TF seats seem much easier to source at present- ?MG's more likely to be scrapped than Mazda's I also saw a couple of Bronze's with a black mesh grill going right across under the bumper- are they buyable items or home made?

Re: Picking a Bronze up tomorrow
Hi,
I have a Mk2 which currently has MGTF seats test fitted they seem to fit pretty well but they are a little tight at the middle of the door pillar. They are great in a Mk3 as I have them in the convertible and they seem as comfy in the Mk2 but that's only been driven up and down the drive.
cheers,
mike

I can see that they are a little tight at the door, though they are much easier to locate locally. How much work is needed to get the MG seat runners to fit?
