Originally, I didn't want to go lower than 3000EUR, taking into account that I spent almost 6000EUR on the car. But I've given up on that as well.
I'd be happy with anything over 2000EUR. I think that's a real bargain for a complete car.

Hi Martine, It's a great car and a pity you lost confidence. I have had correspondence with Paul Renton-Rose who is looking for a Gold MK3. I have given your contact details, so perhaps he wil enquire for your car.

Thanks for your help Hans.

I'm not the type to give up easily and I'd hate to see the Midas go, but in the end my own health and stress level is a bit more important than a car.

Sold for 990 gbp, possibly the bargain of the year. I was interested in buying it with my brother, but condition of the engine bay and interior was unknown so I didn't take the gamble.

Hi Hans,
Sorry, I saw your PM too late. I don't come here that often. It would have been better to mail me or call me. Too bad.

In the meantime, the Midas has been sold to a very nice enthusiast from Belgium. I'm sure the car will get a good home :)
It was sad to see it go, but mainly because of the painful financial loss. On the other hand, I'm happy that it's now finally gone, after being for sale for more than half a year already.
Maybe, some day, there will be a Midas again. When my life is a bit more stable!

Hi Martine,
Disappointed to read it is going to Belgium. Another Midas gone from Dutch soil. That's the third one! Apparently there is a Midas scene growing in Belgium. We hope to great the Belgium Midas people with the soft "g" soon on this forum.
All the best with your Aston, great story in the Autoweek sportscars special!
