Mini World Action Day 2011 - 24th September
This year's Action Day is almost upon us. The best chance to take your Midas out on track - even if you only take part in the parade lap during the lunch break.
For those that have never been, this is a great day out incorporating track a track day with a massive Mini meet. There is also a large trade area where you can pick up many Mini and A-series spares.
Tony still has a spare ticket or two so if anyone wants to go phone him on 07850917392

Hi All
In view of all the disappointment attached to Stafford Show, come to one this Saturday 24th September which will not disappoint. It is the Mini World Track Day at Castle Combe see the details on previous posts. It is much more than just a Track Day as there are Trade Stands galore, Club Stands and a Automobile car boot. I have just received their news letter that confirms that Trade Stands have sold out and have a much higher interest level than in previous years when they were packed out. Come along to the Midas Owners Club stand and then take part in the parade laps around the circuit at lunchtime. Better still take your pride and joy onto the circuit to see how well it goes without speed limits!! The only thing that I can not promise is good weather however the last four year's events have been dry even though one was very foggy until lunchtime.
Come on over it will be worth it.

Hi All
Well Castle Combe Mini Track Day has come and gone. What a day, a little light fog in the early morning, the M4 motorway closed at Junction 17, then a lovely warm sunny day with only a short light mizzle at about 9.30.
As a regular participant at this event I have never seen such a hugh number of Trade Stands selling everything from nuts and bolts to plastic windows for competition cars via KAD cross flow engines, Maniflow manifolds to seats and trim materials. The Auto jumble extended from the edge of the paddock all the way down to Quarry Corner.
Thr Club had a good turn out again with a several cars out on the track in anger and a 100% turnout during the Parade Laps at lunchtime. I would post a photo here if I knew how to do it!!
A very worthwhile fun event make a note now of the date so that you don't miss it next year.

I have added a few (and the ones in this thread) to the midas owners club website, and to the gallery section.
