That seems like an odd tread pattern for a Goodyear NCT, or maybe my memory is playing tricks on me. However I last remember looking at an NCT when I had my Bronze, which would be early 90s. Can't expect a tyre tread pattern to stay the same for 20 years, I suppose.Geoff Butcher wrote:http://www.tyrewizard.co.uk/car-tyres-c4/13-c6/goodyear-nct2-16560-r13-82h-tyre-p3366

That's because they're NCT 2's the original NCT had a slightly different tread pattern. and it just so happens that I acquired some late Metro turbo wheels with a mix of NCT's and NCT2's

After 20 years you'd be lucky to have any tread pattern!faceofdoh wrote:That seems like an odd tread pattern for a Goodyear NCT, or maybe my memory is playing tricks on me. I have a pair of Metro rear wheels with 155/70x12 tyres on them, which have to be about 23 years old, still attached to the rear subframe they arrived with.Geoff Butcher wrote:After 20 years you'd be lucky to have any tread pattern!faceofdoh wrote:That seems like an odd tread pattern for a Goodyear NCT, or maybe my memory is playing tricks on me. Wouldn't dare use them......although technically, since there's about 2mm tread depth, I suppose they're still legal...
(not too sure about the subframe either, it's been "stored" out of doors all that time!)
