Another option for seats.

Post by Rich »

I picked up a pair of Cinquecento Sporting front seats yesterday, looking at them they could be ideal for mounting in a Midas. They are a reasonable size, supportive and come ready mounted on a tilt/slide subframe which fixes flat to the floor with four bolts. They might mount a little high for the taller drivers, but definitely worth a look, particularly as they sell for buttons.

These are the ones I got Alan..

Ebay link

They will probably end up in the Beetle as they tilt properly which the MX5 seats won't do.

The look great, I've got some Suzuki GTI ones to try next, cloth covered, just like those.

Thanks for information a good find!

No worries, I'm developing a bit of a collection in the loft. I've currently go these, the MX5 seats and a set of Recaros up there too.

Hi Geoff,

They are 53cm across at the widest point of the base. They look and feel the same size as the Richfield seats in my convertible.
