Cobra Panther seats ex midas gold coupe

Post by paulr »

hi all - have now fitted mx5 seats (thanks for guidance on this) to Ruby and selling the cobra panther seats and mountings which were fitted to her before - have put them on ebay - link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220912762099? ... 500wt_1361 (sorry don't know how to post it as an automatic link), in case anyone is after cheap pair of seats for a Midas - at least we know they fit although sods law says the mounting holes won't match!

Hi.
Wouldn't mind those in my coupe, are they as clean as they look? Why did you change them for the mx5's are they more comfortable and did the 'fit' go ok?
What are the dimensions for the runner holes, I'll check if they would drop straight in.

I wouldnt worry about putting 4 extra holes in the floor. It's an easy fit to put some grp tapes across the old holes.

Anyway, the old holes will allow water from the leaking doors out ;).

yes they are as clean as they look - we changed them as wanted cloth seats and had read on this forum about mx5 seats which fit nicely etc - the holes for the maxda seat mounts are different to those for the cobra but as another poster has said - easy enough to drill (and plug) holes in the floor ,
