wiper blades

Post by tankosl »

Hi All,

I was going to get some blades for the Midas but I'm not sure if I need standard mini ones or not, 10" blades seem a bit small on the Fiat screen.............

I've got standard mini arms with the normal bayonet/push on fitting............

Any ideas?????

You need Fiat 126 blades! You should be able to get generic blades with a multi-fitment kit.

I think they are 14" long, or 350mm. Hopefully someone can confirm this, not able to go and measure mine at the minute...

Is that the newer type of blades where there appears to be no metal "superstucture", where the blades themselves are actually sprung? If so, must investigate, I didn't (a) realise they were better at speed and (b) think they'd be available in "our" size/fitment.

Aha...

...this type of thing?

goodyear wiper blades are the ones you want,as discribed above. I have them on three cars now and they are brilliant!

I get mine from Costco.

Thanks Alan! I used to have a Costco card but sadly it's been lost, along with all the details about it. Don't think I'd qualify for membership any more although it would be nice to have one again!

Thanks Alan, I wasn't aware of that. I'll investigate in the not too distant future!

Hi All,

Thanks for all your responses.........

I think I'll have a look for some 14" flat blades then...........

Does the standard fitting kit have an option for the Mini arms????

I don't think mini arms are long enough, mine have always had Allegro arms fitted (I think)
