hopefully with a bit of luck i will be hitting the mot centre on saturday afternoon only problem is its gonna cost me 4 new tyres first and still unsure of what size to put on it thanks everybody for all your help

Fingers crossed!

I found 175/50/13 were the easiest to find locally.

It's a good job you're not getting a McLaren F1 on the road, servicing alone is £5000 a year, I hate to think what 4 tyres would cost, viewed in that context your little recycled Metro will cost peanuts to keep on the road.

Yes, I'm intending on putting some Toyo CF1's on mine if they still make them if and when my car is ever ready.

These are 175 60 13 on my mk2 20 odd years ago

Should I get yokohama ao48 or wait to see if I have any problems first then get expensive ones
