My car's history?

Hey guys. We're doing a six page feature on the Midas to the Mobilisti magazine. My colleague is going to drive it for a week, since I would be biased to write about it. The article will naturally cover the history of the Midas cars, starting from the Mini Marcos etc. Also the story of the car in question would be nice to know.

This photo and the accompanying text says that it would be factory built. I do have photos of the car being restored, and I can tell that the subframes were indeed badly rusted.

Who are the gentlemen in this picture? I've got a pile of photos from the time the car was rebuilt around year 2000 or something.

At some time the driver side door has been kept closed with duct tape. The duct tape has taken away most of the paint from the side of the roof.

I'll be sure to send the article over to the forum when it is out in the May issue of our magazine.
