E500YPP back on the road

I'm proud to be the ninth person to have enjoyed this car which is now on about 104,000 miles and at least the second engine! The logbook states engine number 12HD240106628 while reality disagrees - with engine number 12HD24107459 actually sat in there feeling nice and tight and with a slightly battered red finish. The chassis number is SA9BG9600M4011002 which I assume, perhaps wrongly, is an early number for this model. So the engines are apparently 87, the reg is 87 but I have no idea about the actual age of the car...

She's getting a rolling renovation. Having got her up to a point at which she is safe and legal, I'm just fixing or improving whatever is the most annoying fault or foible in my mental list as I drive along. Right now that's the front hydragas and a rattly window frame. She just keeps getting better and better, which is a delight to enjoy.
