I would love to be in 6R4 but then again this car you have link to will be fun also.
I have managed to make Alan to decide Midget with Swift Gti engine for his next project!? or 2/3 later.

Hi,
I got more parts for this project.

Piper fast road camshafts, under drive pulley and VW turbo inlet which I will cut to fit Gti head.

Hi,
I bought bits while back some of them starting to arrive!

Water proof connections.

I'm waiting for an inter cooler, Cultus HC ratio pistons and a cylinder head.

Hi,
I got those, too.
R1 coil overs.

Then I have those, too. complete MX-5 rear setup.

I will have to shorten drive shaft and mate it to Volvo 360 setup.
I will be starting to make rear subframe to take std MX-5 arms or I even make them also out of CDS tubes.

Hi,
I managed to get hold of oil pan and pick up from Suzuki SJ13.
This will make my engine longitudonal mounting possible.

Re: Swift Gti Turbo RWD project.. parts collection atm
Hi,
Due to my work commitments, I have to give up on this project.
I have spoken to my MOT inspector friend and he says that I may need SVA/IVA whichever it is needed.
I think V5 is still says Mini so may be actual car is not registered as a Mini Midas but just a Mini1000.
So, I have a feeling I have sell body and a reg separate.
So if any of you who has damaged Midas which need resheling, this may be the body shell for you.
I will look into it, first.
Cheers
