Re: Window runner
i have rebuilt my doors using ford fiesta rear window winders they are alot smoother and easy as pie to fit plus parts are easy to source
Re: Window runner
Do you have any pics of the work you've done on them Barry?
Re: Window runner
Ok, the runners are in the post. I missed yesterday, but I asked my beloved to post them today. Frankly, if there is a better system that fits easily I'd go for it, because as Moneypit has pointed out, the Midas system isn't great. Either way, now you can experiment (and I will cast a critical eye over a Fiesta next time I'm in the breakers as Land rovers are not so common.
Re: Window runner
Thanks Matt, much appreciated.
I know what you mean about the system being less than brilliant, ultimately I'd like to fit electric windows.

Re: Window runner
Barry, what age of Fiesta did you get your winder mechanism from? I've lost count of what "mark" the Fiesta is on now...
Re: Window runner
It was a g plate I think any will do though I just aluminium brackets up for them and kept adjusting them for the dip on the door card
