Post by b1zbaz »

I want my wheels to stick out about an inch or 25.4 mm further into the arch is this a possible/difficult task to achieve its mainly the rears that look a bit pants I'm sitting on metro turbo alloys

Metro turbo wheels have a "C" distance ( or offset) of 133mm, so the wheels are inset it the car, my convertible has wheels with a "C" distance of 115mm. This "C" dimension or wheel offset would give you the look which you require.

Sorry for the large image, but right click on your mouse and select; "open image in a new tab". Then open the new tab, which should be at the top of the page.

Any mini shop will sell you wheels with the offset you want baz!

I would like some 13's....though I do worry if they will rub on full lock!

Alternatively you could get spacers but I wouldn't advise it and you'll miss put on having a nice dish with new wheels!

Mini wheels don't fit on Baz's car, they are Metro wheels, with limited availability!

Which rear drums are you using? Mine have approx 1" spacers built in.

James you are correct, the A series Metro is the same PCD as the Mini, it's the Rover Metro which is different. Sorry my error! I know that the mini offset will not fit a Metro car. In fact Mini wheels don't fit the rear of Mk1's & 2's very well, without spacer or Minifins.

No problem Alan, I thought I was wrong with the PCD's and completely unaware. :) While I have minifins on the rears- why do you say that mini wheels won't fit the rears of Mk1/2's very well?
