Wiper Stalks - Rover wonderment

Post by mikeeskriett »

Hi All,

Following on from the conversation regarding indicator and wiper stalks I have an update. My wiper stalk decided to pick today to die on the way to Newark in a hail storm. Luckily Martini car parts had a shiny new visually identical one on their stand from car unknown. The mouldings are identically marked however it seems in their infinate wisdom Rover have developed several pin outs for exactly the same switch so you have two part numbers to look for, the number to ignore is the 218SA that seems to be for the switch assembly the small number above is the car specific part number.

So you learn something new every day!!

Cheers,

Mike
