Mk2 Rear Beam

Post by Killerwhat »

Hello everyone, happy new year!
You may be aware that I have recently replaced my beam with one based on the drawings by Anthony Ravenscroft. The channel is supplied in 6m lengths which, along with the lasercut brackets means we have enough to make another 4 at this time. In the last two weeks I have received enquiries for 2 and if there happens to be a need for another 2 out there then it will enable us to keep the price down. The original beams rot through near the outboard ends where the brackets bolt on. Mine looked OK on initial inspection until I put a screwdriver through it! When I got it off it proved to be in a very poor state :o
Since most of these cars will be a similar age the chances are most beams will be in a similar state.
If you are interested let me know sooner rather than later so that we can clarify a price and delivery time.
Best regards
Steve
