Recovery / towing

After todays exploits i was wondering if anybody has fitted a recovery or towing point to a mk2.
I thought some track days insisted on them? Certainly as a Mini club we do if anybody is traveling on our continental trips to International meets as part of a convoy.
Sitting by the side of the road today i released it was pointless to call a mate to drag me home as I would in my Mini.
Has anybody come up with a fix for this?
I'll need to sort something before IMM2015 in Lithuania.
