Flying the Midas flag at Beaulieu
It's been a very long time since I was there with the Midas, 1989 I think

Re: Flying the Midas flag at Beaulieu
My Midas was very lonely at Beaulieu Mini Show...I think it was a bad idea to park next to the track going down the centre of the show... She was covered in dust by the end of the day...but lots of people saw it...

Very nice, I keep seeing it pop up in photos now and again.
Mine was the sole Midas at Beaulieu the two times we visited. One year I was directed to park in the show arena part with all the pristine Mini's. It was a bit dirty that day. I think they also wanted me to drive it in the show area for a chat with a man on a microphone, luckily I was away from the car at the time
I was wishing I'd given it a bit of a clean.
I think I saw your car on a trailer at Stoneleigh once behind a motorhome, would that be you ?
Oh and I think it's in 3 Beaulieu photos, but it clearly was of no interest to Rob the photographer.
There's another thread where your car was photographed, someone asked about the wheels.
