first prize with my midas

Last sunday i won first prize for the best car: (mini meeting)

That's fantastic. Congratulations. But your restoration from ground up has been really impressive, so well deserved. I suppose the US style front license plate is illegal?

There seems to be a good number of people doing some very good thorough restorations on their Midases now. First class example of how a good MK2 can look when it's all brought back to original spec. Very nice an excellent example and obviously well appreciated at the meet too.

Hi Hans, THanks. The license plate is legal, i got the note on my registration. Because there is no room for a normal plate at the back, i arragend it while importing the car.

Thank you all! of course it is a price for the Midas community to, since a lot of information on this forum helped me to complete the project.
