It seems that I need some seats with a very low rise in the squab. Any suggestions? And I don't want to break the bank...

Talk to me about seats
Soon it'll be time for my Mk1 to go back on its wheels, and I have discovered an issue. I have Mk1 MX5 seats (the ones with headrest speakers). However, when I sit on them in the car, my head is almost out of the sunroof. I am only 5ft 8" tall. I know the Midas isn't exactly the biggest car in the world, but this is ridiculous.

I had TR7 seats in my Mark 2 - and they worked well and I had Ridguard ones in the Mark 3.
Sounds like if you could modify your existing seats and use a thin layer of high density memory foam that may be the best solution.
Failing that I can ask Alan Hudson if he still has the lovely black leather seats he offered me when I bought the convertible from him.
