posting pictures

Hi all. It has struck me that quite a lot of the pictures posted on the forum are quite large and often have the scroll bars to view the whole picture. I've done a few posts with pictures but have reduced the size first before uploading via photobucket. I use a picture viewer called Irfanview, but it's simple enough to do in Paint which all PC's have. The pic below shows an image in paint with the resize menu box open. The pixel size shown will fit on a forum page and allow readers to see text and the whole picture on one screen.
