MGF Pedal box

Postby manifold » Mon Sep 28, 2009 2:35 pm

Chatting to Rich the other day we spoke about the Metro Pedal box, as Rich is considering changing to the Hydraulic type (due to fitting an uprated verto flywheel).

I wondered if anyone knew if the MGF Pedalbox was the same as on the Metro A series pre cable clutch adjust type, like mine, which is hydraulic.

I'm guessing it must be same/similar, knowing how the parts bin at Rover operated, however without seeing one I am just guessing.

Difference is (or should be) top mounting plate and clevis pin eye on the top of pedal.

Cheers,

David

I have a feeling from some pics I have had a look at that it might have some differences as brake has a lever which works over the the nearside via a control bar for the servo (like bigchief does with his toyota mini conversion)....however the clutch pedal might be what you need!

I hope that makes sense.
