7 port in a midas convertible

Maybe you're squeezing all you can out of a 998, or going large-bore with a 1380 (or even larger!) - either way, let us know all about it here!

I guess it depends on the induction system used.

Sorry, the carburettors or fuel injection throttle bodies that you use, and the air filters. I think David's bonnet is dual-use, for two different cars, mainly to fit over his KAD twin-cam engine.

I imagine it'll be a tight squeeze with a standard bonnet and a 7 port, but the bonnet bulge may not need to be quite so big.

If you are going this route no doubt David can sell you a bonnet since he makes these by himself.

The mould plug for this bonnet lives in my garage down here in Devon if that is any use to you.

It's something I've also considered, although not in the near future.

I'm still undecided about which would be the best route to more engine fun, a 7 port head or one from a BMW K100 engine...
