Talking about returns, that's difficult to do with the standard tank, but luckily the previous owner of my car had sorted that. My car has a turbo tank that has a return. The pump pumps fuel via a pressure regulator (also turbo) and fills the float chamber. Then that closes (hopefully) and the remaining fuel goes via the pressure regulator back to the tank. If you don't have a return, the pump should be adjusted for the lightest pressure as the old mechanic membrane fuelpump.

I considered a return pipe, but then thought a simpler solution would be the addition of the Filter King pressure regulator.

I spoke to Avonbar today who advised me to make the pressure as low as possible - in the region of 1 or 2 psi...so that is the next job !!
