Headlights
Looking for headlights for a 78 Midas. And info greatly appreciated
Re: Headlights
A 78 Midas, that's interesting. Chassis numbers 0,1 and 2 were 1st registered in September, October and November 1979.
What chassis number is yours?

Re: Headlights
I'm guessing that your Midas has an age related plate from the donor Mini, hence 1978.
Your car would therefore be a Mk1, or Mk2 and use Austin Allegro/ Triumph Dolomite/ Hillman Hunter type head lights. These have been appearing quite regularly on ebay as new/old stock.
If you don't see any when you first search then 'save the search' and you will get new items emailled through to you when they appear.
The Metro headlights use the same lens and body, but the mounting tabs are different and not easily modified.
